Juicy and aromatic. This sencha is harvested from the Shizuoka prefecture in Uji, Japan. The natives call it “Fukamushicha” which by definition means that the sencha is deeply steamed before being dried and blended. Usual steaming processes take 30 seconds to 1 minute, Fukamushicha however takes the Sencha and steams it for 2 minutes. Thus avoiding the fuzzy aftertaste and enriching the taste and aroma.
